Great Chinese food spot on Central, slightly west of St Paul. With reasonably priced meals and delicious food, Dragon City has turned into my most reliable stop for Chinese takeout. My last trip consisted of cashew chicken, veggie lo mein, and white rice, and all were fantastic. Call-ins are suggested and I don’t recommend dining in. I do, however, recommend this place for an awesome carry out order.
We have purchased food from here multiple times. We always have it delivered so cannot say about the atmosphere inside but can say my family loves their food.
They are always extraordinarily fast and food is always “fresh”. Now everyone should know that 90% of places use frozen food for obvious reasons but I say fresh as in not sitting out for 8 hours.
Mainly get it because the wife and kids as I’m not too keen on any Asian foods but I do love their crab Rangoon and their sesame chicken.
I ordered the full size wings, they were bloody and they had forgotten my honey sauce... last time I had to come back for the rest of my order and I live in a neighboring city... I was going to bring the wings back but I'm not waisting the gas for poor food and sad customer service. I hope they can do better with being friendly and cooking their food to completion. ( the wings went to the trash!) Will be a while before I order from this location again.
Good food, fast service, and a surprisingly cozy venue if you like a “hole in the wall” kind of ambience to your dining experience. Had a crackhead outside hassle me for .70¢ and when I declined, he spoke all sorts of ill about this place. I’ve never been one to take the word of others at face value, especially when they’re rudely panhandling. I walked in, got the beef Lo Mein and some rangoons and left entirely satisfied. I won’t say it’s the best in the city but it really hits the spot when you’re looking for something lowkey and fast. Guys up front were nice and professional. Overall 4/5 experience. Will be coming again when I need a fix.
I ordered the Buddhas delight, no mushrooms with pork fried rice. Fresh veges, pleasant texture. You get a small box of rice as a side which is cool. Just under $12 to pick up. Ordering pickup with Menufy was only $1 more. Maybe a little pricier than other Chinese places, but for the portions & quality, it’s great.
Got beef and broccoli and general tso recently and still delicious.
I'm more upset with the 5 star reviews, y'all clearly don't have tastebuds. The crab Rangoon as soon as I put it in my mouth I knew something was wrong. The shrimp toast is burnt on the outside, change your grease people and it taste like pork and when I pulled it open it looks raw. And there was green stuff dried onto the back of the forks they gave me.
Ordered a chicken and vegetable combo. Chicken looks uncooked. Rice was hard like leftover. Menu said meal come with crab Rangoon but was not included. No dining in, carry out only. Lunch was not good. I won’t go back.
Food was not good. Ordered orange flavored chicken and pork fried rice. Chicken tasted old and refried. Food was barely warm. Rice was hard and had an old odor. Had to throw my dish away. Wish I would have read the reviews before going there. Anyone thinking about going here please consider a different spot.
